Finding inspiration and refreshing perspectives during a Street Wisdom Walk in in Alkmaar on October 12.

What’s Street Wisdom? 

You go for a wander.
You walk unhurriedly,
Where your feet bring you,
Where your nose leads you. 

While you stroll with all your senses open
Feeling the surface under your sneakers
You ask the street a question:

“What’s next for me?”
“What possibilities do I not see?”
“How can I make today a great day?”

Step by step you tune in 
to the tastes and vibes of the street.

You might spot a painted bird on a door, a whisk hanging from a balcony or a crack in the wall. You turn left and the first thing your eyes catch is the word “flow” on an advertising board. 

These discoveries offered by the street,
The hints and directions visible to you
Are your surprising treasure.

When: Thursday, 12th of October 2023. The 2-hour guided walk starts at 11 am and finishes at 13 pm CET.

Where: Meeting in front of the Stedelijk Museum in Alkmaar (10-15 mins walk from the Alkmaar train station).

The walk will be in English and Dutch.
