Spring Awakening: Moving from Thinking to Doing

What is possible now?
A wonderful question—one that opens doors, invites curiosity, and sparks creative exploration. I love its energy, optimistic tone and intriguing invitation.
These past weeks, I’ve been in an unhurried, wintering mood—because I needed to and wanted to. I felt at ease in my bubble, lingering over a cup of coffee, writing crappy pages, doodling in my sketchbook, and letting ideas simmer.
Now, as the daffodils push through the soil, I, too, feel the spring awakening—ready to ask: What is possible for me now? Something concrete, actionable, and practical. The notion of ‘doing now’ is critical to me. At some point, thinking must move into action.
Because without movement, there’s stuckness. I know the risk of postponing, of overthinking. This is sometimes called the “scarcity trap”—not acting, not deciding, not investing time. (A bit of Ecocycle Thinking here—for those who know this fantastic tool! If not, reach out, and I’ll send you a little booklet.)
- It’s time to get practical—to refine my possibilities from What could I do? to What should I do? to What will I do?—three simple questions inspired by Strategic Doing.
- It’s time to choose: What is my next project? Which path will I focus on?
- It’s time to take the first step—try, observe what happens, embrace the missteps, and learn by doing.
Or in other words, it’s time for a reality check. Time to step out of the comfort zone of dreaming and talking.
In my next blog post, I’ll share more about my new personal project—stay tuned!
What about you? What possibilities are you exploring? What feels possible for you right now?
