Walking the Streets of Change

From Online Workshops to Street Wisdom Walks: A Journey of Transformation.

Disruption is refreshing but not always easy.

Sometimes, it means letting go of what has proven to work well but eventually no longer serves at its best.

This spring I killed my darling, the online training titled ‘Bringing Your Online Workshops Alive.‘  This collaborative project with Corinne Sprecher, crafted in 2019, served its purpose during the pandemic. We ran it successfully more than 10 times. We inspired 100 team leaders, heads of programs, teachers, coaches, and facilitators to make a difference by organizing meetings that people truly enjoy attending.

I am proud of what Corinne and I have achieved. However, Covid was ‘over.’ People moved ‘back’ to the office and new hybrid spaces.

It was time for me to crawl out of my cozy and homely ‘online cave’ and find a new creative challenge, one that allowed me to meet in person again and preferably locally.

The opportunity came from an unexpected corner.

The street.

After I read the book Wanderful. Find Wonder in the Everyday. Every Day. by David Pearl I reached out to Phillip Cowell from Street Wisdom ‘Who is leading Street Wisdom Walks in Amsterdam? I would love to join.”

His response was, “You!”

This marked the beginning of a new adventure. Since then, I have been co-leading Street Wisdom Walks with Mirjam Leunissen.

Reflecting on this journey, I invite you to ponder: What darling did you let go of? And what beautiful new initiative did you create space for in your life?

If you would like to join a Street Wisdom Walk in Amsterdam, watch my announcement on my Linktree.

Yours gratefully,
Nadia
