What’s your Pause story?

Share it. Spark a pause. Inspire another Rebel.

I think I’m becoming quite a pause rebel.

The more I explore the magic of pausing — together with my friend Ewen and a growing community of wonderful pause explorers — the more convinced I become that the world needs more of it.

More pause. More moments of nothingness and hereness.

Apparently, I’m not the only one thinking this way.

In the latest edition of the Chicken Chronicles, David Hiett and his crew shared some of the emerging trends around rest and recovery. Lie-Down Clubs. Micro-Retirements. New ways of making space to stop, step back and simply be.

I’m all for it.
Because we need to pause.

A pause gives us space to rethink, recharge and renew. To notice. To listen. To choose how we respond.

And sometimes, that little bit of space is where something shifts.

Imagine what might happen if we paused before firing back, rushing a decision, interrupting a conversation, jumping to conclusions or exhausting ourselves.

Maybe a pause is all we need.

What’s Your Pause Story?

What does your pause look like? Have you developed a little pausing practice?

Tell about a moment when you chose to pause. What changed? What did you discover?

The Pause Rebels want to hear about those small, surprising, funny, awkward or meaningful moments when you dared to pause.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
